Santiago Compestele

Pilgrim homecoming. The Camino Frances end game. You see tired and beleaguered faces of the pilgrims, young and old and from all parts, gather in the square at the front of the cathedral to St James, congratulating one another and hoping the experience never ends. But alas it does.

In the garden

Standing on the clam shell in the middle of the square.

Leave for Porto in the morning.

    1. No. It was pissing down rain. I’ll explain when I see you. At the bus station waiting for the train to porto. Santiago was great. I cannot believe how crowded this place is. Hundreds of pilgrims but many are pretend pilgrims. Met some Irish women but they started in Sarra. Same with a woman who started 100 km north of Porto. Soon to see ya bai. Looking forward to it. Same with Dot…cheers.John
