Missed most of yesterday’s competition. What happened? Oh this:
French alpine skier Mathieu Faivre, the partner of American ski star Mikaela Shiffrin, has been expelled from the Winter Olympics over angry comments made after a race at the weekend.
The 26-year-old was sent packing from Pyeongchang by the zero-tolerance French team following remarks made to journalists after finishing seventh behind winner Marcel Hirscher in the men’s giant slalom.
“Mathieu will return to France for disciplinary reasons,” David Chastan, director for French men’s skiing, told AFP on Monday.
He will then be transferred to the French Cross Country Ski Team!

Russian competitor accused of doping. For what sport you may ask? CURLING! Say what. Well watching this so-called sport one would have to be doped up to get into it. Dopes………Geesh! The Russian has been suspended and will be transferred to a Gulag when he returns to Russia where he will be instructed in the intricacies of Cross Country Skiing for 23 hours a day!

The Half-Pipe Competition is exciting to watch. My question would be? What is a full pipe? In Canada a full-pipe would probably be this:

From the “Only in Canada!” comes this: Canada beats Korean Hockey Team 4 zip but everyone in hockey Canada-land is concerned. Why? They feel anything less than a 10 zip finish is bad. This coming from a nation that considers “personal bests,” as in “I finished in the top 30” to be a success.

Oh yeah. Vonn came in 6th in the G Slalom: but it’s Trump’s fault. Keep politics out of it Ms Vonn. And everybody else. We know you hate Trump. You have expressed that publicly. Many people do but when you politicize your participation at these games in the public eye you have to face the consequences. You cannot have it both ways……………………………my rant and I am not a fan of Trump nor am I a fan of Vonn!
