It Was All His Fault

It was all his fault:

  • Hurricanes Irma and Harvey;
  • Katrina too
  • Spain’s 50% youth unemployment
  • Italy’s “boo, hoo, hoo”
  • The poor and the hungry
  • And the Asian Flu
  • All of the above
  • Can be blamed on you!
  • You must be a genius
  • In driving this zoo.
  • It must be the hair
  • That carries you through

Amazing what you have done in just 9 months in office. Wow!

Have a great weekend

SJ…………out!

That…..

Thinking about all these left and right protests these past few weeks. I consider myself non partisan but I wonder how people would feel about me if they knew:

  • That I am a practicing Catholic;
  • That I believe in God and a higher power;
  • That I am a pro-life type of person;
  • That I was in the Navy for 37 tears;
  • That I love my country;
  • That I believe in national sovereignty;
  • That I believe in the “Rule of Law”
  • That I respect our History – warts and all;
  • That we should live within our means – everyone, governments included;
  • That some things are worth fighting for;
  • That I am not hypocritical;
  • That I respect our Police and authority;
  • That I respect our constitution and Bill of Rights;
  • That my political views are between me and the ballot box;
  • That I love to walk;
  • That I love my wife and family;
  • That one should work hard to get ahead in life;
  • That handouts are for dogs and cats, not humans -troubled people excepted;
  • That a social safety net is important, except for cats and dogs;
  • That current music sucks;
  • That today’s news is oxymoronic;
  • That journalists have no work ethic and are dishonest, misleading;
  • That all mind altering drugs are bad, including marijuana;
  • That parents should teach their children morals and not their teachers;
  • That political indoctrination at school is a form of child abuse;
  • That graphic sexual education and promotion of transgenderism to young impressionable minds is a form of child abuse;
  • That changing the English language is not negotiable by University students;
  • That a good pint of bitter is nirvana;
  • That a good steak is wonderful;
  • That PETA sucks;
  • That Black Olives Matter, especially on Pizza;
  • That you cannot compromise with a greenie;
  • That organic pizzas are green;
  • That the word Organic is a Latin word meaning grown in pig shit;
  • That the word Commune is a Latin word meaning shithouse;
  • That going to University is not a god given or atheist given right, its a privilege;
  • That one should pay their own way through school;
  • That climate change purported by politicians is the biggest fraud in history;
  • That Orwell was right and we are now living proof of this;
  • That the Baby Boomer generation was the most self absorbed generation in history;
  • That the Baby Boomer generation is primarily responsible for all the shyte we are now going through;
  • That you cannot make your school change the date of a solar eclipse to meet your child’s scheduling demands;
  • That the song “Imagine” is well past its best before date;
  • That bitcoins and climate change are the currency of madness;
  • That to “Make Love, Not War” was not the rallying banner we all thought it was but a thought process that produced a lot of bastards; and
  • That’s all she wrote.

Obviously I am a (insert whatever label here) phobian. So be it but I am happy.

Why can’t we all just get along?

SJ….out

Doomed

So, Horgan finally got his wish…to be Premier of BC, because, after all, the majority of voters in BC did not want the Libs forming gov’t. They wanted the NDP. So here is the math:

40% of voters voted for the NDP – yess……yess….. We are legitimate, Horgan was heard to say. Yesss

17% of voters voted for Green – yesss…..yesss…but we are legitimate too, Weaver was heard to say.  Yesss

But those nasty Liberals with 43% of the votes…are illegitimate??????

Well, if Horgan handles the books in the same manner as he handles electoral math then we are DOOMED.

Most BC’ers are not interested in jobs or a strong economy at the expense of social  programs. Say what? Well here is another bit of math to chew on. BC’s economic equation:

Strong Economy = Investment and Innovation = Good paying jobs / low unemployment = more spending money for families and individuals = higher tax revenue for the government at all levels = excellent social programs.

Take any one of these elements away and you’re DOOMED with respect to social programs.

Kinder = gone = BC, Alberta and Canadians are doomed

LNG = gone = BC is doomed

Site C = gone = BC is doomed. Stand fast all you proponents of electric  cars.

Coal and gas = gone = doomed.

Forestry / raw log exports (First Nations) = gone = doomed

On the bright side there will be a high demand for Baristas in this new economy.

Better stock up on sweaters and blankets for the winter.

Take notice all of you hippies in Vancouver and Victoria. There will be indirect consequences for all of this. Jobs! Investment! Innovation! Economic growth!. But then again, that doesn’t matter to hippies anyway. Welfare Wednesdays can’t come soon enough. Have not status here we come!…yess and that is legitimate.

WE ARE ALL DOOMED!

Just the Facts Ma’am

Canada’s Minister of the Environment wants to shut down all coal based operations in Canada by 2030.  Cross-training will be a boom industry they say.

Jump to 2030, “Headline News.” Small towns for sale in the Province of BC.  Surge in Ghost Town sales in BC interior. One Provincial MLA was heard to comment….”Well, just think of how many pictures can be taken by hundreds of tourists of that one small building. That one small building will pay for itself a thousand times over. It’s a cash cow that one small building from one of the Ghost Towns. Just think of how much revenue all of the other small buildings in all of the other small Ghost Towns in the Province of British Columbia will bring into our government coffers. That more than offsets the tax revenue lost when the town’s main industry went bankrupt. Whew!

And all those small town mayors across Canada that feel they have a bright economic future, take one step forward……………As you were Tumblir Ridge

Drug overdoses in Vancouver’s safe injection sites?!?! Their solution? More safe injection sites of course. Pop-Ups! Sad state of affairs with these drug overdoses.

Shut down the oil and gas sector, mining, hydro, everything in BC. A Vancouver Barista’s wet dream. However, be careful what you wish for. Back in 1959, the Canadian Government cancelled an AV Roe’s contract for the development and production of the AVRO Arrow.

In what seemed to be an overnight-like decision, AVRO then laid off 14,500 workers on a Friday – Black Friday, in the Toronto Area.  An additional 15,000 indirect jobs of every conceivable profession and occupation, e.g., lawyers, doctors, professional trades, retail and even unskilled workers, were lost across Canada because of this decision.

And how about all of those subsidies that people depend on? Are they sustainable without an economy to support them?

I don’t think so.

Canada’s 21st Century Family Compact

Re: SJ post 18 October. Add to that:

Canadian Senate:                              Progressive Left

Now, I try to be as non partisan as I can but what scares me is that an effective opposition, or a political balance in this country, will cease to exist, especially if the PR proponents win and the Government adopts this electoral system.

Canadians: Wake up…. and be worried, be very, very worried!
