Covid

Total Covid cases in BC to date since the beginning, January 2020?

189,680.

Total Deaths?

1,983

Percentage? 1%

So, out of a population of over 5M people, 189,680 or 3% of the population have contracted Covid of which 1,983 people have died. Percentage of deaths due to Covid in the province?

1 %

Survival rate?

99%

Of those 1,983 deaths, information on comorbidity cannot be found anywhere. I have gone to the BC Coroners office for comorbidity numbers.

And we shut down our economy and ruined people’s livelihood for this?

No wonder Texas and Florida opened up since last March.

In BC

Fully vaccinated

Total population

70.65%

12 and older

80.70%

And yet we are still under restrictions. Why? We were told that a 70% vax rate would equate to herd immunity and allow us to get back to normal yet here we are: we still cannot gather indoors and we now have to show a vaccine passport, except for fast food outlets??????

By comparison, the drug overdose numbers in BC are shocking:

In 2020, 1,716 people in BC died due to illicit drug use equating to 4.7 deaths a day — a 74% increase over 2019. So far in 2021 there have been 1,204 suspected illicit drug toxicity deaths between January and July 2021 for a total 2,920 deaths in the same time period as Covid.

Response from or government? Nada.

We are being deceived and I don’t know why.

Elitism

Elites think they’re better than you. They think the God you worship is nothing more than a figment of your imagination. They think the family you raise is outdated. They think the society you belong to is racist. Who are the elites? Ottawa bureaucrats, athletes, politicians, entertainment, those who dine at the French Laundry or attend the Met Gala — they all think they’re better than you.

And Trudeau makes the top of the elite list.

Instead of using the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation — his federal holiday creation — to listen to Indigenous survivors about the cross-Canada indignity of residential schools, Trudeau spent most of the day jetting to Tofino for a family surfing holiday.

And yet he got re-elected.

And then there is this:

Show your papers please.

Who would have thunk it? Well, our greenies of course: With blackouts looming, German government holds disaster preparation day, promotes ‘cooking without electricity’. And in England too. Bring us back to the good ole days. Remember them? When we didn’t have rolling blackouts.

How is it that politicians who claim they have spent their entire lives serving the public have their noses and hands in the public purse and amass millions of dollars??

Pandora Papers shed light on how world leaders secretly amass millions in property, other earnings. There you have it.

And then there is Biden: So far, he hasn’t delivered much of anything except trouble and failure and his poll numbers continue to slide downhill. The Afghanistan debacle, the border mess, the still-raging coronavirus and rising inflation are taking their toll on his presidency, and getting passage of the infrastructure deal, which garnered nearly a score of GOP votes in the Senate, would give him bragging rights on a popular issue.

Biden has backed nearly every far-left piece of nonsense in the wind, including a voting rights bill that would put Washington in full charge of federal elections. He talked about making Puerto Rico a state, packing the Supreme Court and ending the Senate filibuster.

He’s also showed himself to be an open-borders (except for Canada) president and adopted the language of the worst race-baiters by insisting the nation is guilty of “systemic racism” even while he calls Americans “good people.” Just like Trudeau, although Trudeau went one further than Biden – because we are sooo much better than the Americans don’t ya know – and accused all Canadians of Genocide.

Could of had Trump and could have rid ourselves of Trudeau in the last election. But they and we didn’t.

Oh well. Happy Tuesday.

If

This is interesting:

As compared to our arch enemy, those dastardly Americans.

Population density map? : Demographics

I think Canada got the short end of the stick. When God was handing out land Canadians were caught with their pants down in the outhouse.

Most of the US has arable habitable land whereas most of Canada is comprised of the rock of the granite Canadian shield. Good for harvesting granite kitchen countertops but not much else. Canada may be pretty but you cannot grow tomatoes or potatoes. You can freeze your buns off for most of the year. The rest of the time is required for blood transfusions due to the propensity of smidgens, mosquitoes, horse flies and deer flies whose main aim in life is to take a hardy chunk out of a Canadian’s hide.

Virtue signaling and the big lie:

From Ontario:

“The Ontario government plans to roll out this new curriculum over the next two years, specifically to grades one through three. The social studies classes will now include education on the role of family and resilience in First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities and First Nations, Métis and Inuit historical and contemporary realities. It will also include education on Indigenous peoples’ interrelationship and connection with the land and the residential school system.

The province will also begin offering Inuktitut as a language of instruction.

And now : The Big Lie: “Like all Canadians, I have been saddened by the recovery of unmarked graves at former residential schools across this country. For more than 120 years, Indigenous children across the country were taken from their families by the government, many of whom would never have been reunited with their loved ones,”

And a bigger lie. This from Canada’s largest newspaper, The Toronto Star:

Canada is the ‘home and native land’ only for Indigenous communities.

Tell that to the 103 thousand Canadian families who lost loved ones during World War 1 (61K) and World War II (42K).

From the Star:

“From the time I was young, I had difficulty with some of the words of our national anthem. I cannot sing, “O Canada, our home and native land.” Yes, Canada is my native land — I was born in Canada. But I am a settler of European descent, and for Europeans, Canada is not “our” native land.

I doubt she had trouble with the words back then. Only now does she cry about them as Trudeau has elevated this to national and international proportions.

As settlers, we in fact appropriated it from others for whom this was their “native land.” As hard as it may be to acknowledge, we as settlers simply cannot use the phrase “our home and native land” with integrity and honour.”

Bull Shyte. Nobody owned the land. Why not just hand over Canada to the Indigenous people who do not and will never recognize Canada as their “native land.” Let us see how well they do to run this country given that by the 1600s they had not yet invented the wheel. They were not caretakers of the environment as we would be led to believe but exploited the land to suit their own purpose…just like the so called European invaders (sic). Witness the severe visual pollution of the 1,000 meter stretch of the Pat Bay highway in Victoria with billboards on either side of the highway. Caretakers of the land indeed?

And a bigger lie:

“I realize what a daring statement this is. Some people may scoff and say, “Is nothing sacred, not even the national anthem?” To them, I would reply, were the native people of this land not sacred when they were murdered, displaced or forced to assimilate? Was the land not sacred when it was carved up and claimed by settlers?”

I blame Trudeau for all of this. He has pitted first nations against Canadians and other special interest groups. He has isolated the indigenous community away from all other Canadians. And that is sad. Yet in his own post national state mind he is all talk and no bloody action. Witness his promise for clean drinking water on the reserves or the compensation to native children for the alleged child welfare abuse. Trudeau is fighting the award in court.

As the insane Covid 19 lying mantra says:

We are all in this together. Everyone. We are all Canadians.

But to Trudeau, all of us non indigenous people are guilty of genocide. I will never ever forgive him for saying that. Genocide is the most heinous crime against humanity. I am not a genocidal maniac but a Christian…Canadian.

Mark my words. You will see Trudeau change the name of British Columbia to something else. Same with Victoria, Vancouver, Regina, Prince Rupert, Prince George, London, Halifax, St John and St John’s, Kitchenr / Waterloo, Windsor…and on and on she goes.

My dear father…a World War II vet would be turning in his grave if he saw what was happening to this country.

Interesting Global News caught up with Justin Trudeau, who was vacationing in Tofino on Canada’s first National Truth and Reconciliation Day. His official itinerary placed him in “private meetings” in Ottawa, and a first nation rep in Kamloops invited Trudeau twice to attend their ceremony but he went surfing in Tofino instead.

Also, Trudeau’s government has been fighting in court not to abide by the decision and compensation package awarded by the courts to indigenous children who were part of the child welfare alleged abuses. The courts withheld their decision and have ordered Trudeau to pay. He is still fighting that decision.

The clean water initiative…NOT. Say no more. This surfer dude talks a good story but does nothing.

I am more than happy to go back to Ireland or Scotland if the need arises, if I am not welcome here in my land of my birth. Indeed all of us non indigenous people should leave and let the 1.4M Native and Metis people run the show and fall back into 3rd or even 4th world status. Isn’t it ironic that the Metis were half breeds of indigenous and, dare I say, Quebecois (Canadian) and European bloodlines.

If this is how we celebrate 30 September Truth and Reconciliation Day you can count me out.

Hypocrisy of the highest order.

A proud Canadian:
