At last! Hic-up, a cure for the hangover has been found, say Finnish researchers…hic-up.
Researchers say that as well as reducing or even eliminating hangovers entirely, the dose also helps ‘reduce the need of drinking the next day’
Binge drinking is hic-up, common in Finland, with more than half a million Finns considered at risk from excessive drinking from not working.
The researchers received funding from Catapult Cat Oy, which sells the L-cysteine supplements and Lysol internal anti-alcohol disinfectant – to be taken orally if the booze runs out.
The study ran into certain difficulties. Due to Bew-la concerns some participants, especially those named Ralph, weren’t able to consume all the alcohol required and had to be expunged, some had such high tolerance levels that they experienced no hangover symptoms whatsoever; and some were sidelined because they insisted on topping up the dose by heading for the bar for more, researcher Markus Mezcal told the local media.

L.A. Protesters Try to Break Into Hospital Where Two Officers Are in Critical Condition After ‘A Cowardly’ Shooting.
Two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies are fighting for their lives after they were shot multiple times at point-blank range in an ambush, authorities said.
Crowds of protesters blocked the entrance to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, where the wounded officers were in a critical condition, police said. Some protesters chanted “we hope they die,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office said on Twitter. A witness told ABC7 that some had tried to break into the hospital’s emergency room.
