Covid and Confused

From stats Canada:

The majority of COVID-19 deaths (approximately 80% during 2020) occurring among adults aged 65 years and older. Both advanced age and underlying chronic diseases and conditions contribute to these severe outcomes. In Canada, 73% of Canadians aged 65 years and older reported having one or more of 10 common chronic diseases. Approximately 90% of COVID-19 related deaths that occurred between March and July 2020 occurred among individuals with pre-existing chronic conditions. Dementia (including Alzheimer disease) was the most common comorbidity listed with COVID-19 on the death certificates of individuals aged 65 years and over. Other common comorbidities included pneumonia, hypertensive diseases and ischemic heart disease. More specifically, 45% of Canadians aged 85 years and over who died from COVID-19 between March and December of 2020 had dementia or Alzheimer disease. However, more than 80% of COVID-19 deaths occurred in long-term care, a setting in which the age profile is older and dementia is common. Interestingly, the number of deaths of people under the age of 65 during the period 2020 – Covid related or not – was slightly higher than the annual averages of all deaths taken each year between 2015 and 2019.

These are numbers that we never hear from from our elected officials.

Does this warrant the complete lockdown of our economies and quality of life? Perhaps it does but places like Florida and Texas think not. They have been open since last March, even earlier. Their numbers are going way down.

As the world is going crazy comes this:

US Department of State celebrates ‘International Pronoun Day’

What the US Department of State’s concern about pronouns has to do with the security of the United States either internationally or at home, or has to do with “advancing the interests of the American people,” is unclear.

So we thought we would ask President Biden for clarification of this important matter:

Looks good for a guy over 150 years old.

Wow!

Have you heard:

Have a nice day.

Breaking News

(CBC) “The impact of climate on our changing planet may be the most pressing story of our time (It is? Who says? Oh the who. I thought it was the pandemic)

“It is an environmental story, yes, but it’s also about health, the economy, jobs, energy, food, water, security, geopolitics, justice and equity. No sector will be spared its impact. Climate change will define every aspect of our lives and those of generations to come (so say the enviro-mentalists).

“The consequences of increased greenhouse gas emissions from human activity should be a surprise to no one: According to projections by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Canada will experience increasingly warmer temperatures and more extreme highs; sea levels will rise on most of our coasts, causing greater coastal flooding and erosion; ocean acidification will increase; this country’s glaciers, permafrost and snow cover will decrease; hurricanes, storms and dust storms will intensify.” As only a Canadian can state.

In other words when this pandemic thingy is over stand by for heavy rolling. Ban cows and all flatulence. Eat plant based hamburgers and chicken wings. Hey, if it is plant based then it is not a hamburger or a chicken wing. No matter. Canadians will comply naturally and hey if we can ban PFCs then KFC should be a walk in the park.

Soon to be coming from a government near you:

“All citizens will be required to hold their breaths between taking a breath for two minutes.”

This will diminish the release of CO2 and reduce our impact on the planet given everybody exhales CO2.

See the source image

Breaking news: “law of unintended consequences. Levels of human flatulence is rising faster than the sea levels. Why? After holding ones breath for over two minutes the gas produced in a human being from the consumption of plant based foods like broccoli has caused said gas to find the path of least resistance out of the body.” Result:

See the source image

“Yes but we can harness that energy to heat our homes when the polar vortex hits.” So say the enviro-mentals. “and…and …se how that guy can still hold his breath. My, my it makes one want to cry.”

The makers of “Beano” have no comment to make as sales have gone through the roof.

Next: all Canadians have been directed to stand on one leg and jump up and down for 15 minutes – in order to save the planet.

One Leg Hop - YouTube

And if you do not do it the “Royal Canadian Hopping Police will be there to take you away, after writing a ticket for non compliance.

And if they do not do it right classes will be held. Just like these guys…CBC’s latest hop graduates.

Solution?

Trust and Credibility

Watch this and you will get some idea of the problems Canadians face with respect to media trust and the lack thereof.

From Victoria, BC municipal leaders:

“Racism is a colour and that colour is white.”

A City of Victoria plan on how to make the municipality more welcoming claims that the COVID-19 pandemic increased “white privilege” alongside other uncorroborated and controversial statements.

The strategy also goes on to identify the city’s namesake and the name of British Columbia as “burdens of the past.”

“The weight of colonialism is entrenched and continually reaffirmed in the name of our city and our province. As a capital city, the colonial systems of power and authority are more pronounced,” claims the document.

Soon to come: city namesake change and change to the name of our province.

Calgary has already done it by changing the Anglo Saxon names of highways and streets to first nations. Problem is is that the only people that can pronounce these names are the first nations themselves. Try to pronounce this when giving someone directions:

Q’lhan Shelh; St s’hwulmuhw Shelh; Liloot Shelh; Yuwen Shelh; Sxwuts’ts’ulii Shelh; Smuyuqw’a Shelh.

Obviously Shelh means “Street.”

No it doesn’t. It means boulevard stupid. Everyone knows that.

And Torontonians want to change the name of one of the longest streets in Ontario: Dundas St. That will cost million of dollars.

Soooo.

Madness in Canada.

Buddy Can Ya Spare a Dime?

This is why people are upset with the gov’t mandated Covid rules:

Delegates attend the opening ceremony of the COP 24 United ...

(COP 26): This time there will be as many as 25,000 delegates travelling great distances by jet during a plague and — this will shock no one — as the BBC reports “COVID rules will be relaxed … (delegates) will not require to be fully vaccinated.” Of course not. Unlike the rest of us, global warmer warriors have virtue-signaling immunity.

We’re the COPs and we’re here to screw you.

(Rex) Because COP26 is about global warming. Which is as an elixir, a magic wand, a fiat from Zeus himself, against every reality. As energy supplies dry up, as green policies advance ruin upon the economies of nations, as prices inflate and gasoline costs soar, the ludicrously righteous assembly in Glasgow gets exempted from the plague of all the rules and regulations imposed with force of law and threat of job loss on everyone else but them.

Now they’re getting desperate:

UK’s hidden goldmine of SEAWEED to invigorate Brexit Britain’s economy and slash emissions

Just like the peat farms of Scotland and Ireland did in the late 1700’s and drove many to the New World.

Don’t they know that taking CO2 out of our atmosphere is dangerous folly. CO2 is the building block of life on this planet. The more the better.

“During the end times there will be great deception.” ( Matthew 24)

Reality bites:

UK Readying New Law Mandating Home EV Chargers Be Shut Down During Peak Hours.

The power for your plug-in car has to come from somewhere.

Time to home school:

Toronto District School Board to release youth climate activism guide this fall, and dictates about Islamophobia and same sex marriages.

This is scary. I often thought that this might be the case but wasn’t sure about it. Now I am and it is not nice for our future:

The US Government’s Debt-to-GDP Ratio Is Worse Than Greece’s Before the 2008 Crash (And It’s About to Get Worse).

Indeed every country in the world is on the same path. Standby for fiscal heavy rolling and no matter what any of the leaders of the world might say to obfuscate their financial woes they only have themselves to blame. Here in Canada our idiot Prime Minister would say: The budget will balance itself.” as he racked up the largest single year debt in our history, or, how about this profundity: “I have no interest in Canada’s financial situation”… unless it pertains to my socks:

Justin Trudeau *Really* Loves Fun Socks Photos | GQ

Our Prime Minister. Canadians? WAKE UP.

This is cute:

Remember all those health-care workers we banged pots for and spent months proclaiming as heroes? Thousands of them are about to get fired . Under new federal vaccine mandates that Reuters has called  “one of the strictest vaccine mandates in the world,” any health-care worker who refuses a COVID shot faces dismissal, with no options to substitute regular testing or even to opt out on account of prior COVID-19 recovery.

In Quebec, with hard vaccine mandates poised to eliminate up to 20,000 workers from the province’s already overstretched health system , the provincial government has extended the deadline to Nov. 15 in a bid to boost vaccinations.

Postal workers are suddenly exempt from federal vaccine mandates, however . This week, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers got an exemption to the mandate wherein they can instead submit to a free weekly COVID-19 test.

This is laughable. The Liberal Family Compact in action:

Former Postmedia columnist Paula Simons is among the latter camp of unelected Albertans selected by a Liberal government. In a series of Thanksgiving Day Twitter posts , Simons defended the existence of an unelected Senate , saying that having a body of legislators divorced from a “partisan political arena” makes them better able to “defend the Constitution, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and minority rights, even when such views were unpopular.” In other words, it’s by design that we’re supposed to hate the Senate.

Really. Tell that to the majority of senators in the senate that were nominated by the Liberal Government.

Geeesh. They (our Federal Government) must really think we are stupid.

After the last election. Maybe we are.

Beautiful!

Stats and Damn Lies

I thought I would post this re Covid stats in BC:

B.C. has a population of 5.17M people. As of August 21, 2021, there have been a total of 1,804 deaths due to—or  related to—COVID-19. These deaths occurred over the span of 18+ months dealing with COVID-19 in our province.  Further calculation demonstrates that this represents a 0.023% COVID-19 yearly mortality rate for our entire B.C.  population. Does an annual 0.023% risk of death, heavily skewed towards the elderly with comorbidities, justify a mandatory vaccine policy and a vaccine passport?

Moreover, in the age range of 0 to 59, there have been 127 deaths related to or from COVID-19 in the entirety of B.C  across an 18+ month duration. Why is this information not being openly shared? Does this data not represent a very  different reality than we are being led to believe in the media and in your press conferences?

The total number of people that the Government of Canada says died WITH COVID-19 (not necessarily FROM Covid 19) since the beginning of the pandemic, is 26,873 as of September 3, 2021. You can view these numbers directly on  the Government of Canada InfoBase website5, using the link in the footnote (find Figure 7, and change the drop down  to “deceased”). There you will find the breakdown of the 26,873 of total COVID-19 deaths by age group in Canada. To see these numbers here, we show both the BC and CANADA total deaths, said to be WITH Covid-19, broken down  by age, and the percentage of those deaths by age, over the past 18+ months. This is interesting:

  • Age 0-19 = 2 (0%) BC 12 (0%) Canada
  • Age 80+ = 1,117 (62%) BC 17,160 (63.9%) Canada

 Total Deaths = 1,804 (100%) BC 26,872 (100%) Canada

 Total Population = 5,145,851 BC 38,067,903 Canada

It should surprise all Canadians that there has been a total of 12 children between the ages of 0 and 19 across the  entire nation that have died WITH (not necessarily FROM) COVID-19 in 18+ months. Co-morbidities have not  been made public. With this data, it is reasonable to ask why the government seeks to vaccinate all children to “protect”  them? It is obvious that they do not need protection.

There ya have it. I personally sent an email to the BC Coroners Office asking for the comorbidity rate among the Covid deaths in the Province. Result? Nada.

Who is kidding who here?

The difference between the US and Canada is stark:

Have a great weekend.
