It’s a start:

A leaked Feb. 1 memo from Laurentian University president Robert Haché said it took the step of the CCAA filing because “despite Laurentian’s best efforts, the university has not been able to achieve the type of cost-cutting and restructuring measures to position it for future success outside of this type of formal proceeding.

Laurentian offers 28 gender studies courses, so maybe that will pull them out of the financial fire. Or that other job worthy degree in anthropology – or philosophy…eh Ted?

Give me a break!

A veteran comedy troupe out of Toronto tried the virtue signaling route following the rise of Black Lives Matter.

When that failed to solve racism in the Great White North, The Sketchersons took extreme measures. The long-running Canadian group canceled itself before the woke mob could do it for them.

The Toronto-based group shared the grim news on social media late last month. The post revealed why its initial embrace of BLM proved insufficient, and how it forced them to crunch the numbers on its diverse lineup.

Or lack of a diverse lineup, as they saw it.

Perhaps…just maybe… they sucked……..just saying that’s all.

Readers unmoved by wokeness may be inclined to point out that a way to overcome “alienation” – here, it seems, a euphemism for ignorance – is via students learning things, perhaps even words.

These woke guys and gals would love the Navy – acronym city. I know I once wrote a sentence with about eight acronyms in it. Maritime jargon. The scary thing about that was that all of my mates understood exactly what I was saying with those words…yikes.

It comes after exclusive reporting by Global News into allegations that Vance engaged in inappropriate behaviour with two female subordinates, including an alleged intimate relationship with a subordinate while he was in the top post.

Typical Liberal speak remarks by the Minister of National Defence, after this story broke? “I am concerned.” I can tell you  that this guy knew about this months ago, hence the retirement announcement a few months back.

Wonder what her name is. Gladys perhaps?

An LGBT activist has called for ALL children to be put on puberty blockers until a decision is made as to what gender they are going to be.

Yes, really.

Zachary Antolak began as a gay man but now identifies as a lesbian woman named Zinnia Jones and is in a polyamorous relationship with another lesbian named Heather and a ‘trans woman’ named Penny.

What better example of obvious mental stability to decide which chemicals to bombard your children with?

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is seeking a consultant to officially standardize the definition of words on the topic of gender and diversity.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) was posted by the SCC earlier this week in support of the Government of Canada’s 50 – 30 Challenge, which strives to “increase corporate diversity” by increasing “representation” on the boards of Canadian organizations:

The 50 – 30 Challenge asks that organizations aspire to two goals:

  1. Gender parity (“50%”) on Canadian board(s) and senior management; and
  2. Significant representation (“30%”) on Canadian board(s) and senior management of other under-represented groups, including racialized persons, people living with disabilities (including invisible and episodic disabilities) and members of the LGBTQ2 community. The program and participants recognize that First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples as founding peoples of Canada are under-represented in positions of economic influence and leadership.

Before gender parity and diversity goals can be achieved, “key terms” must be standardized and officially defined.

Code for Whitey need not apply. Can’t they see the discrimination inherent in this policy?

Hey, It’s Only Money!

Canada’s Federal minister in charge of student volunteer grant program can’t say how much of $30 million paid to WE has been reimbursed.

Oh, I don’t know…probably none of it. But hey, it’s only money right?

“We can share that … $30 million has been released to the organization through the contribution agreement. I was not aware of how much money has been returned,” Bardish Chagger, Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and Youth, said Tuesday to House of Commons ethics committee members.

Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and Youth?? Are you kidding me? How does one administer diversity, administer inclusion, youth? When asked Bardish just shrugged. “Ask we.”

“Oskee wee wee, oskee wah, wah…Ticats….eat em raw.”

Have you noticed that Canada is slowly but surely becoming a third world country with corruption, nepotism, discriminate policies and political favoritism to garner votes? We opened this country to third world immigrants. We want to become diverse because diversity is our strength – or so we have been told. Does being diverse come with a cost to our freedoms, values and ethics? Will our attempt with more diversity, adversity (sic) undermine our political institutions as we adopt third world constructs so as not to offend any one particular group? Will these diverse groups assimilate into our Canadian way of life and adopt our core values or bring their own third world way of life and attitudes with them?

Oh, I don’t know whitey. Your white privilege is toxic and destructive. Black Lives Matter don’t you know.

Diversity Is Our Strength

Diversity: According to Webster’s Diversity: Die – ver – city (sic). From the Latin:” Die toward the city.” To continue to push for something that dosen’t require pushing. And in doing so you will die! Cities will self destruct and die unto themselves.

Harvard and its race based admission practices are wrong and do not reflect diversity. Charles Lane of the Washington Post discusses a suit brought by Asian American plaintiffs charging Harvard with racial discrimination in undergraduate admissions.

To me (Lane) the most interesting bit of information in this column is this: Harvard’s expert witness told the court that without its system of taking race into account (favouring some races / ethnic groups while disfavouring others), its class of 2001 would have been 15% African Americans and Latino rather than the 28% that it actually was.

To me this is an admission that Harvard can achieve diversity without granting racial and ethnic preferences. If gaining a diversity label means shutting out most predominant races based on colour and ethnicity then you have a racist institution that will ultimately die within itself.

If you had 10 Caucasians in a group with one African American would the group be diverse? Yes. Yet some progressives would suggest that diversity only occurs after a certain threshold is met. What would that be? 30%, 50%, 80%? Getting rid of whitey altogether. Or maybe blacky. Is that diversity? This is madness and will certainly ensure the death of our higher learning institutions (bring it on) and ultimately society and our cities. Leave it alone. Do not place markers on diversity otherwise diversity itself becomes meaningless, a weakness. Identity politics.

An Exeter Professor proffers, as only a professor can proffer, that mathematics is the root cause for wage disparity throughout the world because it teaches individuals ethics free and detached thought rather than diversity of thinking.

The other day while shopping the cashier tallied up my purchase and it came to $15.35. I gave her $20.35. She looked at me with that detached unethical look and stood there stumped:

“Hmmmm” she uttered. “Hmmmm” she uttered again.

I looked at her bemused face and finally said. “You owe me $5.00.”

“Oh yeah,” she says. “Says who?”

“Its basic math” says I

“Yeah, who’s math” she says. “Your old school math or the new math?” and with that she called for the supervisor.

The supervisor came over, looked at me sternly, discussed the situation with the cashier, looked at me again and said:

“Well she isn’t wrong you know. It’s the new math and diversity of thought. Diversity is our strength here in this store. And who is to say your math is any better than her math? Or you’re right and she is wrong?”

“Just give me the 5 bucks and I’ll leave”

“5 bucks, no way. You’re owed $4.55”

“65 cents says I? Plus the 35 cents I gave her.”

“Right, so here is your 65 cents Sir.”

I took it and left. I just couldn’t bear correcting their new approach to math.

Diversity of thought I thought. Diversity of logic, logically speaking I thought. Stupidity!

Yes it takes all kinds of wingnuts to make a society die – or a store, and that is diversity. This so called diverse opinion of thought, of logic – even if it is wrong and goes against established rules of life – will surely destroy us or them. Eeee Gadszooks!

The New Math? Oh yeah:

1 + 1 = 11

or

1 + 1 = 3

Some New York schools are doubling down on their admission standards to ensure a whole range or prospective and diverse students are eligible to meet the grade. ” We want a whole range of students here” One school administrator said. Not just the smart hard working kind. After all diversity is our strength. So we’re doubling down on our admission standards. Doing otherwise is considered unethical on our part, particularly in our Math department.

“Dumbing down is more like it” I thought………Geesh

But hey, diversity of stupidity is our strength. But wait a minute. Stupidity knows no colour or race or ethnicity. One is either stupid or they’re not!

“If we are all stupid then who is to say that we are stupid in the first place”, the administrator remarked. “It’s like that simple classical argument that, that, who was it now that said it…Aristotle? Blimy? Or Cicero? Oh you know. It will come to me. Oh yes: “Who’s on first?””

“Oh you mean Costello?” I proffered

“Yeah him,” she said. “Profound man. Profound thinking back then.”

We are in trouble. And if we continue on this path we will no longer be considered diverse but a dead society: Homo Zombius!
